Since  we are all working and the kids are at school, we are actually celebrating this weekend!

So what did I ask for???
An 8' x 3' sheet of metal! Yup to go between my upper and lower cabinets at my craft station!

Because this is just not working! I hope to have it done this weekend!

I haven't had the space to craft (see above) but I HAD to make my daughters B-Day Invites! So I made these adorable balloons, they are about 6" and I  printed the party info on the back and tied a string around! She loved them and they were super easy! Have you seen the awesome pattern card-stock from Recollections?? These are cut from the new Primary collection:

Tim Holtz Inspired Picture Frame, and Blog Candy!!

Here is the recap!

I truly felt inspired after meeting Tim Holtz! Here is a photo I  had taken with him!

Of course I wanted to make an altered picture frame for this photo all Tim Holtz-ified!

I made sure every piece that I added to this frame meant something special to me!

All the words:
Live Life!
Journey!
Succeed!
Dream!
Just be yourself!

The pearls and skittles remind me of my cute-sie side
Buttons: to keep it all together
Lace: to use my old stash
The circle in the square glass: To try something new
Bee: I will always be abusybee
Key: Memory
Flower: Everything is beautiful
Clock: Time always moves forward, never back!
Change is good!
Mirror: To reflect

I really felt now was the perfect time to try something new! So with many many supplies in hand I went for it!
I'm not sure if I used them correct or not, some I read the directions some I just tried!
Decoupage, crackle accent, glossy accents, distress crackle paint, stickles, Tim Holtz embellishments,
alcohol ink, perfect pearls, distress ink

And Now is the perfect time for my give-a-way!!!

It is a Tim Holtz idea-ology set of 96 tickets AND it is autogrpahed by Tim Holtz!! He was so nice to do this for me!! Want to see the videos of the meet and greet?? Click here!

All you have to do is leave a comment here, be a follower and post my candy on your sidebar or blog about it!! Yippee!!!

One comment per person please!
