2nd Attempt at a shape card...

I'm not used to using my Gypsy but I have been trying! Here is my 2nd attempt to make a shape card.

This was way to frustrating for me! I think I picked a bad shape and it had way to many layers that I just expected to match up!

I also folded the card wrong and starting gluing before I realized it so I had so turn the glitter paper over to match up!

She is cute but next time I will try a more simpler shape.

My Travel Mini Brag book!

We are going to Georgia this summer and when we went last year I brought all the supplies with me so we could make a scrapbook of our trip.Well that never happened, so I decided I would pre-make the book and mail it ahead of time so while we are there with Grandma and Nana the only thing they have to do is write notes and add the photos!

I am so happy with how this came out!

The size is 9x6 I used office envelopes so there would be a place to hold tickets, mementos etc and added cardstock between each page! it is 22 pages!! it took me about 4 hours to complete. I might have to make one more, so that we have one and the Grandmas have one!

I used scallops so I can add just our faces to each one!

From My Heart...

So I am still working on organizing my craft room!! I worked till about 2:00 am then started bright and early Saturday Morning! Today I had to stop and get myself ready to go back to work. :(

I wanted to make sure I did a little crafting this weekend so I won't be cranky all week! So I worked on the floor, a box and my chair!

I am almost done, and will post photos when it's all nice.

The rules for this challenge:

- Your project must include the color purple as a main color. Purple is my favorite.

- You must try something new that you have never done before, for this challenge.

- This time I am only allowing projects that are being made for MY challenge only. I don't want to see projects that are being submitted to other sites challenges as well.

I have a paper crimper but have only used it once on an envelope, I have always wanted to use it on a card, so for this challenge I used the paper crimper.

I crimped the border and the flower! I used Accent Essentials for the Flowers and Scallop.

Ribbon and Bling!

Card Creations and more is having a challenge on using ribbon and bling.


I did challenge myself on this one because I did two things I normally do not do.

First I received an oval chipboard piece covered in Halloween paper with some bling on it from BonkDawn during a swap we had over at Serenity Scrappers and I loved how cute it was so I decided to do the same with my favorite pattern paper and bling. Then I used a ribbon that was a grayish color because I loved how it looked with the purple paper and it has wire in it.

Cutie Koala Bear

I have wanted to use flock on one of my cards so I looked through the Create a Critter and chose the Koala Bear. He is so cute! I used the flock to make the white fur pop more. It's cute. I tried to make it more of a boy card since I never have boy cards.

I think I made him a little to big because I couldn't fit anything else on the card! Maybe it is just because he seems to have a large head?
