Congrats Card... Peachy Keen Style!

I have been so consumed with making Christmas Cards it was nice to take a break and make something else! I needed to make a congrats card and enjoyed picking fun colors!

I had no idea that I could cut felt and fabric with my Cuttlebug Die Cuts in my Sizzix machine! I made a fabric flower using my scallop circle die cuts!
Paper is from KI Fancy Free Stack
I punched little butterflies with my Fiskars Punch
Flower is from Walk in my Garden
Button, craft string, liquid pearls

Two new techniques!

Yippee!! I attempted two new techniques!

The first attempt was making my own flower embellishment! I love how super this flower came out and I used scrap material from some old curtain material!

Thanks to Frosted Designs for posting a great tutorial!

And my second technique was the chalkboard technique. You ink your stamp with white ink on dark cardstock and then use chalks to color it. Now here are my excuses on why I think this would have come out better; {gasp}... this is really my only flower stamp! And it was really only the outline and I have cheap white ink that dried to quick!
But I still like it!

Thanks to Queen Kat for posting this new technique challenge!
