Wild Card Cricut Cartridge Surprise

I was flipping through the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge and on page 80 found this really cute gift box. It was super easy to put together and it came out great! The first try I used an 8 1/2 X 11 Sheet of card stock and hit the fit to page button on the cricut. This made the largest size possible which came out to be 4" wide by 3 1/4 " Tall by 1/2 deep. I added some vellum paper to cover the cut out, shading, a cute lady bug and it was perfect! I'll use it for a gift card, or fill it with candies. Here is what it looks like:

My second try I used a 12x12 sheet of patterned card stock and hit the fit to page button and the box came out to be 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 x1/2 deep. I stamped it with a thank you stamp and I will fill this with candies to give to someone! So cute and so easy! The great thing is any pattern paper will look great!

Birthday Wishes

One of my best friends is having a birthday, and I wanted to make a special card just for her. She had given me really cute stickers for my birthday so I wanted to use them in her card. One of the stickers said: a pocket full of birthday wishes. I knew right away that I wanted to use that one on her card. Here is what I came up with.
The card is 6X6 the pocket is from a pair of jeans and the letters are from Plantin SchoolBook.

Paper Crimper

I bought this awesome paper crimper after seeing a video on you-tube, I love how you can make unique cards with it. These cards are made with a standard A2 size envelope. And they were a lot of fun to make.
Here is a Thank you card:
Here is the inside:This is a Happy Birthday for a girl:

These are two that I made for a birthday party for two brothers:
I ended up making 18 Birthday party invites for my chicks birthday and they came out so cute! But I sent them all out without taking a photo!
