Tim Holtz Inspired Picture Frame, and Blog Candy!!

Here is the recap!

I truly felt inspired after meeting Tim Holtz! Here is a photo I  had taken with him!



Of course I wanted to make an altered picture frame for this photo all Tim Holtz-ified!

I made sure every piece that I added to this frame meant something special to me!

All the words:
Live Life!
Journey!
Succeed!
Dream!
Just be yourself!

The pearls and skittles remind me of my cute-sie side
Buttons: to keep it all together
Lace: to use my old stash
The circle in the square glass: To try something new
Bee: I will always be abusybee
Key: Memory
Flower: Everything is beautiful
Clock: Time always moves forward, never back!
Change is good!
Mirror: To reflect

I really felt now was the perfect time to try something new! So with many many supplies in hand I went for it!
I'm not sure if I used them correct or not, some I read the directions some I just tried!
Decoupage, crackle accent, glossy accents, distress crackle paint, stickles, Tim Holtz embellishments, 
alcohol ink, perfect pearls, distress ink

And Now is the perfect time for my give-a-way!!!

It is a Tim Holtz idea-ology set of 96 tickets AND it is autogrpahed by Tim Holtz!! He was so nice to do this for me!! Want to see the videos of the meet and greet?? Click here!

    Lucky you!!! Meeting Tim and getting his autograph and getting so inspired!! I LOVE your frame and I LOVE that everything on it is so meaningful to you. So perfect!!

    How cool and such a great frame! I have only met someone famous once and that was Jan Brett, a children's author. I did get her to sign all my books after standing in line for almost 2 hours.

    I am so Proud of you!!! I have 4 drawers full of Tim Holtz stuff, and I have just been to afraid to use them. Did you hear that, I said "afraid" to use scrapbooking supplies! I know, it makes no sense, but that is how I feel, I need to get over it!! After I go to CKU in Manchester, NH. I am taking a class using some of his stuff, and I am going to come home from there, and Just DO IT!! That's what I say now anyway!! LOL Oh and thanks for the tip about keeping my challenge on the top of my blog. I also found out about setting the time and date, to have your post go up when you want it to, I am getting there!!     Carri, your picture with Tim Holtz is just gorgeous! I am so excited for you that you got to meet him! I am so impressed and blown away with your frame!! Not only is it beautiful, but so creative with the way each piece has a meaning to you and represents YOU. It truly is perfect. Remember there is not wrong or right in art, this is your inpterpertation, so in that case you used everything perfectly. I really think you should sent Tim a picture of this frame and the explanation, he would be touched. TFS and you know I would LOVE to win these tickets.
