Recycle!

Our Town just started a recycling program! We are super excited! I ran out and purchased two new identical cans to fit in the kitchen. They looked great until this was all I heard... "Mom, which one is for recycle?" "Mom, did you say it's the right one or left one?" Etc Etc...

So here was my solution! I used my Gypsy, letters from Wild Card and cut this out of vinyl!

No everyone knows which can is recycle!

Happy Birthday!

I wanted to make something other than a regular card so I tried this Tag card. I really like how it came out!

I hand cut the card and the inside tags . I used New Arrival for the circle tag. I distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz distressing inks and heat embossed some of the edges. Flowers and butterfly are distressed too. I used glass beads as the frosting on the cupcake. I made the skittles using alcohol inks.

Creative Cutter Room, Graphic 45 Paper Projects and Challenge

I love being part of the Creative Cutter Room Design Team!! I Was so excited and honored to find out we would be sponsored from Graphic 45!!

Have you seen the amazing papers they have?? They specialize in vintage crafting supplies representing the 1920's and 30's!

I am working with the Playtimes Past Collection. This amazing paper is two sided, has amazing color and cuts like butter! And the best part is, I have had a stash of vintage embellishments just sitting around waiting for the perfect paper! And here it is!

For my first card I used the Tinker Toys Paper, also known as Connect the Dots

Recipe:
Front and back of Connect the Dots.
Cut circles of chipboard and paper using the Cricut
Adhered circles of  paper to the chipboard
Punched a hole in the center using my Crop-A-Dile
Added a brad
Using opposite side of the paper, punched holes
added eyelets
threaded Martha Stewart Twine through.
Using toothpicks I adhered the three tinker toy circles together.

The next paper I used was Dollie's Teaparty.

When I first saw this paper the first words that I thought of was "I remember when..." My sister and I used to play with these paper dolls!

Receipe:
PaperDoll Dress up to make the little girls
Peachy Keen faces and hand cut these adorable dresses.
Circle punch to punch the circles with the tea cup and flower.
The back side of this adorable paper is the black with super cute flowers!
Perfect for the background.
Remember Stamp
Distressed the edges of all the papers with Tim Holtz distressing Inks.

Here is my favorite!
Using Life's A Ball Paper:

 Back of the tag:

Recipe:
Tag cut from Plantin Schoolbook 3 Times
Cut one tag at bottom and scallop punch
Distress Ink Tim Holz
Making memory Brads
K&Company Paper Flowers (Inked)
K&Company Die Cuts & Flowers
Me&My big Ideas Sticker

WOW!! I Think being able to use all my current supplies was the best part of this amazing paper!
