Hello Summer!

I finally came up with the courage to change the thread in my mini sewing machine! I was worried if I took out the white thread it came with I would never be able to figure out how to put another one in! But of course it was so super easy and I kick myself for not trying it sooner!

So I was able to use this super fun kiwi green! I just love how it matches the paper perfect!

Two new techniques!

Yippee!! I attempted two new techniques!

The first attempt was making my own flower embellishment! I love how super this flower came out and I used scrap material from some old curtain material!

Thanks to Frosted Designs for posting a great tutorial!

And my second technique was the chalkboard technique. You ink your stamp with white ink on dark cardstock and then use chalks to color it. Now here are my excuses on why I think this would have come out better; {gasp}... this is really my only flower stamp! And it was really only the outline and I have cheap white ink that dried to quick!
But I still like it!

Thanks to Queen Kat for posting this new technique challenge!

Stamp from Sassy Sistah

Valentine's Day Treat Box using Tags Bags Boxes and More!

This was only my second time using Tags, Bags Boxes and More, I think it is because I don't have the book so I don't know what anything is!

I REALLY liked making this because I used so many tools!
I used my Gypsy and Tags Bags Boxes & More
Plantin Schoolbook for the X & O
Target Valentine Day paper
Peachy Keen PK-640
Heart Punch and Acetate Paper
Valentine stamp Studio G
I cut the glitter hearts out of paper
And I picked up this awesome Ek Success Tag punch for $10.00!
I glittered around it and added bling.
