Summer Themed Pocket Letter! Using my Hoard of supplies!

Happy Summer friends! We are expecting temps to hit 120 here in Arizona this week! Not looking forward to doing anything in that heat!

I really want to stop hoarding my supplies and dig into them and start using them so I pulled out the Melon Patch stack that I purchased last summer and decided to cut into those big, lovely 12X12 sheets and actually use them! 

I like to swap happy mail so with Pocket letters being all the rage right now I like to always have one pre-made and ready to be swapped so here is my latest one:

 In these pockets I added hand made flowers, stamped summer images and a mini envelope with cut outs from the paper stack

I made an embellishment cluster, sewed a pocket full of goodies, die cuts and stickers

 I handmade ribbon planner clips, a tag with sample ribbon and extra tags

I used the DoodleCharms Cricut Cartridge and made this cute watermelon paperclip!

A sequin pocket is not complete with out some Bottle DoubleClick Skittles!

Enjoy The Summer! Lemonade and Watermelon!

Sometimes it is hard to enjoy the summer in Arizona because it is just too hot out to do anything! Today our temps are sitting at 104 and that is not hot yet!  And when summer comes along so do scorpions! I have killed 2 in the last 3 days, which is not good since summer has just started!

I managed to squeeze in a fun summer card since there are so many summer challenges going on!

I made this a business size card because I will be trying to mail skittles inside of it!

Update on Skittles!
I recently SOLD OUT of many of my releases. Since I invent the colors in my lab they are hard to reproduce. I will be working on additional colors to add to the shop. It is super late here and I should be packing for the big scrapbooking convention tomorrow! But I could not resist getting this card posted. I had only little bits of time through out the day so it was a very SLOW process!

I used my nails as inspiration.... (YES too much time on You-Tube!!)

Eeek! Didn't they come out so cute!!

My girls said they looks like watermelons not strawberries because I used pink instead of red... so here is my watermelon card that I made for my friend who will be watching my girls so I can enjoy myself shopping tomorrow:
