When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! My first attempt at Water Color!

I was encouraged by Georgiana to try a new technique and to get out my water coloring supplies!
I purchased these supplies about 2 months ago and they have been sitting in the bag!

I have a lot to learn, but I had fun creating outside of my comfort zone! 

Here is what I created:

Enjoy The Summer! Lemonade and Watermelon!

Sometimes it is hard to enjoy the summer in Arizona because it is just too hot out to do anything! Today our temps are sitting at 104 and that is not hot yet!  And when summer comes along so do scorpions! I have killed 2 in the last 3 days, which is not good since summer has just started!

I managed to squeeze in a fun summer card since there are so many summer challenges going on!

I made this a business size card because I will be trying to mail skittles inside of it!

Update on Skittles!
I recently SOLD OUT of many of my releases. Since I invent the colors in my lab they are hard to reproduce. I will be working on additional colors to add to the shop. You will have to excuse the poor photos, I lost one of my BFF's today! My faithful Kodak took it's last photo! And I am SOOOO upset about it! It was the best camera I loved it, and I will miss it. (Seriously, I will miss it!) I dedicate this post to my faithful Kodak....

I made this card for my Mom's Birthday. My girls think she looks like this lemon when she laughs!

The two little lemons are my chickies, the big one is my Mom! I think she will get a kick out of it!
