Back To School Book Worm Volunteer Notebook!

My girls have been in school for 5 weeks already! It may be September but here in Arizona we are still seeing temperatures of 108 so it still feels like summer! 

If all goes as planned, this will automatically post because we will be installing my Daughter's furniture today! We had a set back with the paint colors, which originally were watermelon green and pink. However, once on the wall the green was really cartoon looking so it was back to square one. After many paint samples she finally picked Mint Majesty! We are thinking yellow for accent but that will be decided after the furniture gets moved in!

My Daughter needed a way to track her volunteer hours, so I made her this altered mini notebook. Her requests was that it had lots of ribbon on the side and her name so no one would steal it.  (She never recovered from when someone stole the bookmark I made her in 1st grade!)

I went to Micheal's and found the DCWV Nana's Nursery Stack for only $4.97. I vowed no more paper, but I told myself if I promise to actually use the paper then I could buy it. Well I bought it and using it! I decided to start making a 5X5 Baby girl album. This has the sweetest baby girl paper!

I have been slowly cleaning up my craft room these past few days and I came to realize that I don't have too much stuff, my space is just too small! Happy Birthday! Fun Circus Seal Card!

I have a stack of cards from when I first started crafting that need a make over! (Hoarder). Over the years I have learned new techniques and acquired lots of supplies. I finally decided to pick one and make it over using my new style and my supplies!

I love it! I think it looks completely different! 
Since the card was so old the pops dots had dried up, so I was able to take most the card apart. Then I punched new circles and added my touches. Then put it all back together. I think it took me longer to re-do this card because I was working with the basic lay-out already in place.

For baby! Sweet Elephant Gift bag!

It is hard to believe that we have already received our welcome back to school paperwork in the mail yesterday! I had big plans for crafting this summer, but my days were filled with running, working, cooking, cleaning, laundry and dealing with 2 tweens..... Oh how I miss my summer days! Anyways I was lucky to be working from home yesterday, so I woke my girls up at 5:30 am to get some miles in and they both fell back to sleep when we got home. This gave me just enough time to make this sweet baby gift bag. At first I was going to use it to hold a gift card, but now I think I want to make a mini baby album to slip inside.
