Happy Birthday!

I wanted to make something other than a regular card so I tried this Tag card. I really like how it came out!

I hand cut the card and the inside tags . I used New Arrival for the circle tag. I distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz distressing inks and heat embossed some of the edges. Flowers and butterfly are distressed too. I used glass beads as the frosting on the cupcake. I made the skittles using alcohol inks.

Alice In Wonderland # 2

I just love a good challenge, so when Always Crafting posted about an  Alice in Wonderland challenge, I had to join in!

( And it was easier since I still had all my supplies out from my other one!)

So here is the funny story:

I searched on line for some inspiration, I knew I wanted to make something with a mushroom. I came upon this and loved it!
Flash forward a few hours, homework, dinner, kids, etc etc and  it's late so I got to work.

I never actually looked at the photo after I saw it on-line but I laughed when I realized what I THOUGHT the tag said!

Here is my project:

Yup, I thought is said EAT ME! LOL I am still so happy with the way it turned out! I really need to go to bed!

Waiting for Santa!

I made this  holiday card using an image that I won from JLJ Designs. The image was from a Halloween image, I just changed it up a bit! I colored it using Zig Memory System writer collection markers and Crayola twistable colored pencils. I stamped her dress with a little snowflake stamp, heat embossed it added some pearls. I used diamond stickes for her hat train. This is only my second time coloring an image! It is starting to grow on me! LOL

I wanted it to look like she was waiting on line to see Santa. The Santa sign is a stamp from KI Memories Marriage I just added the black paper for the pole.
I ended up cutting apart a stamp that said Santa is coming to town to use it for the SANTA on the sign.

Can you believe I looked through ALL my stamps and not one stamp said just Santa????!! How can that be?

Altered Item!

I have so many items that i have stuck in my closet to be altered one day so when Stephanie over at Always Crafting posted her challenge this week I was thrilled to be checking a thing to do off my list!

I had this neat container that came with nail polish and stuff inside, I loved the clear sides and pop off top so I saved it:

Now that I have all my Christmas supplies out I thought this would be perfect to store my Holiday ribbons, I  used strips of paper to cover the pink sides and top,  I punched a hole for the top ribbon and added some fun Holiday foam stickers. Now my Holiday ribbon will not get mixed in with my regular ribbon!

Happy Birthday Flower Card

I always forget that Wild card has some really neat card features! This is one of my favorites, it is on page 35. It cuts the window for you and has the frame cut that easily fits around it. I used Create a Critter for the grass. I made the stick flower. I love to make these flowers! They can be made to match anything! And I love how they come off the card!

Always Crafting Challenge!

Stephanie at Always Crafting is having another Whimsical Wednesday challenge!

Here is the challenge:
For this weeks challenge I decided to use my new Mini Monsters Cartridge. The theme is a Halloween or Fall project.

I don't have the Mini Monsters so I used the PaperDoll Dress up to make this cutie Frankenstein!
I wanted to make him spooky but he was just came out to cute!

I used Doodle Charms for the spider and he is cut in vinyl to make him shiny!

I just picked up Glossy Accents! Yippee! So super easy to use! I traced around the spider webs and it gave them a shiny 3-d look! Martha Stewart Drippy goo punch, face stamp is Sizzix!

Buttons and Bows!

I am not really a scrap-booker, more of a card maker but of course I cannot pass up a fun challenge!

Buttons and bows 12X12 lay-out is the challenge over at Serenity Scrappers.

Anything but a card at The sisterhood of crafters.

Bling buttons and brads over at Always Crafting.

Here is my entry:

I used the Wild Card Cartridge for the button frame and the large buttons! All the rest is from my stash! This will be the last time I do that frame!! It took me forever to bling it up!! I used brads, eyelets, string, hemp, real buttons, and gems!
