For Grandpa

Our Grandpa is in a VA Home very far from here. We went to visit him over the summer and it was so sad to leave him. Since Grandparents day is Sept 11, I thought it would be nice to send him a card. He loves to receive mail, I don't think he can read them but he does hang them in his room. He used to watch the squirrels from his window at his old house so I thought he would enjoy seeing one!

Nuts about You!

Create A Critter is so much fun to use! I made this for the following challenges:

Paper Playtime
: Anniversary

and

Turned Gypsy: Make a Card with dots, stripes, ribbon an
d buttons.

I am not into mushy cards, so this is a card I would give to my Husband for our anniversary! I love how this turned out! And I had to add a giant flower! And thanks to my friend Andrea who has spoiled me, she surprised me with a large container of beautiful prima flowers! Stamp is from Punny-i-licious.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge # 28

Here is the challenge:

We will draw one RANDOM winner and one JUDGED winner. That means you have TWO chances to win! Entries will be judged based on: originality and creativity! The bottom of this post lists the prizes. Good luck!

Here is the sketch:
Here is my entry!!

I used Stretch your imagination for the squirrel and the acorns! I only have the Peachy Keen stamp set # PK-504 so I wanted to make sure I was able to incorporate them into the card, and I just love how they look on the acorns!
