For Grandpa

Our Grandpa is in a VA Home very far from here. We went to visit him over the summer and it was so sad to leave him. Since Grandparents day is Sept 11, I thought it would be nice to send him a card. He loves to receive mail, I don't think he can read them but he does hang them in his room. He used to watch the squirrels from his window at his old house so I thought he would enjoy seeing one!

    This is super wonderful Carri! My dad was a vet, too, and used to visit the VA for his cancer treatments. How sweet of you to send a card to Grandpa!

    What a wonderful thing to do for your grandpa; it should make him so happy!!! It's always hard when our loved ones aren't near, and to remember little special moments important to them to send them letting them know you care -- so very special!

    I just realized a couple of days ago that the 11th is Grandparents day. Now my mom has two reasons for celebration that day , its grandparents day and her birthday. Love your card.
