Smile!! For Fantabulous Cricut

I wanted to get in a challenge before I start the Sunday night routine of getting everything ready for work and school tomorrow!

I used the card feature on Paper Pups cut at 5 1/4" and the cute little puppy face is cut at 1 1/2"
I added some ribbon, a button, and some bling!

I made this yummy ice-cream cone using sweet treats and the card feature so it opens up! I embossed all the ice-cream with the cuttlebug folders; spots & dots, divine swirls and swiss dots.

I used the Hello Kitty cartridge for the strawberry with the card feature and my Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch for the cream, I decorated the inside so you can write a note!
I will add a sentiment when I'm ready to give it away!

Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge Dress Form

The challenge is to use the Dress Form from the Forever Young cartridge. I don't have this cartridge, and I could not find one on any of my cartridges so this is made from Sure Cuts Alot.

The paper is from the DCWV The Sweet Matstack. I used my scallop punch on the side.
I will stamp a sentiment when I decide who I am sending it to!

Paper Cutz Challenge # 42!

For challenge # 42, make a card, LO or craft project using buttons plus ribbon, lace or hemp. Use any colors or theme you'd like.

I had alot of fun with this one! I always think of sewing when I hear the word buttons, and it always reminds me of my bad habit...

So every time I start a sentence I start it with so... So what's for dinner?, So what did you do today?, So I was walking and.... well you get the idea... SO I thought it would be funny to incorporate my bad habit into my card!
So I hope you like it!



I used the Wild Cart Cartridge for the Dolly card, and red string that I strung around the inside of the cover, the buttons on the flowers are brads. I used red ribbon to tie the card closed. I also decorated the inside because I used a black card base.

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 25

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 25 is here -make a card with a bird or a butterfly using any cartridges, colors or theme you'd like.

I have been loving Create a Critter, But I do love these birds from the Wild Card Cartridge and they matched the pattern paper perfectly! I also just picked up the sentiment "You make my heart sing" it is from studio G.

Practical Scrappers Challenge- Pattern Paper

The challenge over at practical Scrappers this week is Patterned Paper.

I needed to make a get well card for someone and wanted to use pattern paper on the whale to make her look cuter.

Here it is:
I used Create A Critter, Punny-licious Stamps, all the Pattern paper is from Debbie Mumm and I stickled the spout. The ribbon is from Target and the blue circle is a large brad. Thanks for looking!

I liked this one because one of my favorite cartridges is Paper Pups!

I used Paper Pups for the poodle, She is outlined in metallic pink paper from Best Occasions, the back ground pattern paper is from making memories cosmopolitan collection. I used white glitter for her furry parts!

New Arrival

I really do love this cartridge, I don't have any young ones, I don't know anyone who is expecting, but the cuts are just toooo cute for me not to make adorable cards!! I saw this button design on 2duckydesign and it reminded me that I learned this in a card class but never used it!

I saw a challenge to use buttons on a card and made this one....
BUT... for some reason I could not find the challenge blog after I finished the card!! So it did not get entered!


This one I made because the giraffe is just precious!!

Baby Card Kit

I received a great package of supplies from Nancy over at http://cardmakerlover.blogspot.com/

She sent out some great things to make baby cards. Here is a photo of what I received:

I used Stretch your imagination for the squirrel and the acorns! I only have the Peachy Keen stamp set # PK-504 so I wanted to make sure I was able to incorporate them into the card, and I just love how they look on the acorns!

Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge Leaf 1

I finally cleaned up my area so I could actually work on it! I had piles of paper, punches, glues, some mail and other strange things on it!
So it is now time to catch up on some challenges!

Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge is Readers choice from the Life is a Beach Cartridge Leaf 1, I don't have that cartridge so I used the leaf from Walk In my Garden, which is similar.
I didn't stamp a sentiment on it yet.. I will before I give it away!

NSD/MPS CHALLENGE # 8

Here is challenge # 8!
Challenge: Make something using monochromatic (which means only 1 color with a neutral color) and add a flower!

This one was harder than I thought! It is just natural to want to reach for a pop of color!
I used Accent Essential for the Flower because I didn't have one big enough, I ran it through the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder and added a brad!I really like how this one turned out!

MPS CHALLENGE # 4

CHALLENGE: Make a project using your least favorite or least used cartridge

I just had to have Indie art! I used it one day! So I dusted it off and decided to make a cute punk rock card with it.
I really do like this one, I just never use it! I'm going to try using it more!

I decided to use iron-on patches!

I would never have used an iron-on patch on one of my cards, but I love how this turned out! It really gives so much more detail to the card.

The paper is from Crayola
I used Sizzix ransom for the letters, added an A+ stamp and alphabet ribbon!
The stack of books and 123 are patches.
