Ribbon and Bling!

Card Creations and more is having a challenge on using ribbon and bling.


I did challenge myself on this one because I did two things I normally do not do.

First I received an oval chipboard piece covered in Halloween paper with some bling on it from BonkDawn during a swap we had over at Serenity Scrappers and I loved how cute it was so I decided to do the same with my favorite pattern paper and bling. Then I used a ribbon that was a grayish color because I loved how it looked with the purple paper and it has wire in it.

Always Crafting Challenge!

Stephanie at Always Crafting is having another Whimsical Wednesday challenge!

Here is the challenge:
For this weeks challenge I decided to use my new Mini Monsters Cartridge. The theme is a Halloween or Fall project.

I don't have the Mini Monsters so I used the PaperDoll Dress up to make this cutie Frankenstein!
I wanted to make him spooky but he was just came out to cute!

I used Doodle Charms for the spider and he is cut in vinyl to make him shiny!

I just picked up Glossy Accents! Yippee! So super easy to use! I traced around the spider webs and it gave them a shiny 3-d look! Martha Stewart Drippy goo punch, face stamp is Sizzix!

Creepy Halloween Card!

I love Halloween!! I made this creepy skeleton using Indie Art I first cut it in blackout then I cut the original image and popped it up so I could fill it with silver creepy skeleton heads! Drippy goo punch, and fun spider ribbon!

My first REAL scrap-book page!!

So I have never actually made a scrap-book page for my family ((GASP)) I figured I would do it when my chickies leave me and I am sad and lonely then I scrap away remembering all the good times! But after seeing the excitement in my little one's eyes and voice when she believed a fairy came to visit I just had to make a page! So here it is! She LOVED it!! I have no place to put it so it is laid out on our table! She keeps starring at it! LOL!!


I used Create a Critter for the mushroom, Paper pups for the butterfly. I made the flower stick, and the rest is lots of punches, bling and cuteness!

Peace

My Chick's BFF asked if I could bling out her school notebook, so I said yes of course! But she wanted a peace sign.... I don't have any cartridge that has a peace sign so I made one using Accent Essentials for the circle and the letter l for the insides. I was able to just squeeze it into my cuttlebug for some embossing of swiss dots. Sorry for the glare the binder has a protective sheet over it! She loved it!

Then when I was out today I realized I had nothing with Peace on it and came across these great ribbons in the Wal-mart Clearance bin! Only $ .50!


And this fit perfect for the Crafty Hos' Challenge! 9/5 Theme Peace!

Why did I have so much time to craft today??!

It was a good crafting day!! Why?? This past week my little chick decided to make a house to try and catch a fairy! It kept her soooo busy! Here is her first design:



Well sometime last night a fairy did come to visit! She left fairy dust all over the glass table!

So today.... the fairy house needed a remodel! So she spent hours building the addition for the fairy!
Here is the finished house:
Isn't this so cute!! I cannot wait to scrap this and I don't even scrap-book!! LOL

Paper Cutz Challenge!

For challenge # 57, make a card, LO or craft project using 1 ribbon, 2 buttons and 3 colors and any theme you'd like.

Here is my entry:
I used Create A Critter for the tulip and I used a little cuttlebug folder for the thanks and used some white chalk to highlight it!

The Power of Pink

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month Abbie over at Cricut me that is holding a challenge!

*Think Pink, project must contain the color pink and some sort of inspirational/encouraging message pertaining to breast cancer....however you interpret this.





I love this card, I feel something when I look at it and I unfortunately have someone to give this card to.

I used New Arrival for the woman and SCAL for the Breast Cancer Ribbon. The hope stamp is from Scrappy Cat Inspirations.

My chicks sell all the cards they make to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness. Here is a photo of their booth at the Breast Cancer fund raiser that we had last month:This is their booth, they sold all the cards they made and baggies of candy. All the money they raised went to Breast Cancer research!

Now I have to confess I love aprons!! I wear one every single day! I have a whole drawer full of fun ones, fancy ones and every style in between!

I have been known to accidentally go out in my apron because I forget that I am wearing one!

So I really wanted to do this challenge! My little chicks loved this card! They said it must be framed and hung in the office!

I wish I had a stamp that said what's cookin' good lookin' for this one!

Cricut Cardz Challenge:
For challenge # 40, make a card using scalloped circles, scalloped ovals, scalloped squares or scalloped rectangles, and any cartridges or colors you'd like.

Practical Scrappers:
Time to pull out those "white writing instruments" and show us what creative ways you can use them.

I picked up this cool border punch on clearance for $6.99 so I made my card around it! I used Indie Art for the dice and black vinyl to make them shiny.

I used the Wild Card Cartridge for the button frame and the large buttons! All the rest is from my stash! This will be the last time I do that frame!! It took me forever to bling it up!! I used brads, eyelets, string, hemp, real buttons, and gems!
