I am working hard on keeping my New Year's resolutions! One of them being to use my stash! I pulled out this paper pad from Making Memories, I picked it up in 2009! It was one of my favorites, so I wouldn't use it! It is still one of my favs, but it looks better on a card then sitting on my shelf!

Ohhh Christmas Tree.... Non Traditional Christmas Card!

Hello Crafty Friends, I am slowly coming around after loosing my beloved doggie to bone cancer. Thank you to all the kind notes and letters!

Blessings, An Arizona Themed Card to bring to the Homeless.

Now that the Arizona summer is coming to an end and the cooler weather is upon us, I am seeing more and more homeless people while I travel for work. My girls spent last week restocking my car with bags of supplies for me to give out. You can see the bags HERE.

A quick story, I didn't always include cards in my bags, one day I just decided a more personal touch might really make someones day. This past week I was driving and passed a homeless person sitting on the opposite side of the freeway, so I pulled off went around to the other side of the freeway, squeezed onto the shoulder and gave him a bag. I ended up having to make a u-turn, and I was sitting at a red light and I looked over as he was digging thru the bag and pulled out the card that was inside. Not the water, not the candy, not the snacks, it was the card.  It honestly made me cry! So now I make sure every bag has a card, so that they know that someone does care.

This isn't really my style card because it involved such a big stamp, but I like how whimsical it is. My daughter kept coming into my craft room to make sure it was to her liking because she is very "knowledgeable" on fairies. She picked it apart and suggested adding this and that and I finally got her seal of approval!

Jingle Bells! First Handmade Tree Ornament!

Here is my first handmade ornament for my Christmas Tree!

I made this ornament using Music paper from DCWV The Homemade Stack. It was left over  scrap paper from a Christmas card I already made. I made 2 rosettes using the Martha Stewart Score Pal and glued them back to back. 

Using UTEE and Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter I made it sparkle
