Happy Birthday! Sweet Dragonfly using Paisley Cricut Cartridge

I am getting ready for my run and wanted to post a card I started working on yesterday. Pretty much everything that could go wrong while card making, went wrong with this card! From glittering the wrong side of the winds, to forgetting to glue down the shadow, to sticking my hand in the wet liquid pearls not once but twice, and the list goes on!! So needless to say I am happy that I was able to salvage it and get it posted!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge # 26

Here is the challenge for Peachy Keen Stamps:

The challenge is to create a card using all of the items/colors/methods listed below:
  • Stitching (either by sewing needle or hand-drawn)
  • White and Orange (card could have more colors, but must include these two in the card)
  • Contain one upcycled item (something that could be thrown away but instead will make its way onto your work of art!)
  • Any Peachy Keen Stamp
It was a little challenging because I have never added stitching to any of my cards, and I only have a small set of peachy keen stamps so I had to be creative to make my face stamps work! I do love using the color orange and was able to use a matching scrap piece that seemed to just belong!

I used the Dragonfly from Doodle Charms, I used the cuddlebug for the wings, and the face stamp from Peachy Keen stamps PK-504

Here is my card:
