Happy New Year!! I am BACK!! Yippee!!

Hello and Happy New Year crafty friends!! I am back!

I seriously cannot believe how long I have been gone, seems like I just blinked my eyes and my life fast forwarded 6 months!

High school cross country is no joke and it required 100% of my time. My schedule was insane!  It was worth it, my team qualified for the Arizona State Championship and we had an amazing season! I already signed on for next year so I will be working hard to squeeze everything in!
Sadly my craft room sat dark and quiet all this time, when I finally got in there I just could not make any decisions, it was overwhelming and I missed it so much!

I will be working to once again find a balance between my responsibilities, my jobs, running and crafty time! I have a lot of catching up to do and I have to pull a winner from my last challenge!
The DoubleClick Skittles are still up for sale in my shop and I can't wait to dig my hands back into them! I have updated the stock and lots of colors that were not in stock are now available!! I will be closing out the special release colors (I only have 1-2 sets left!)

Thank you crafty friends for your comments and emails, I am doing great and looking forward to catching up with everyone! Winston is still fighting his Valley Fever, it has been such a sad situation to watch our puppy fight for his life. He is so loved and we are grateful for this time that we still have with him.

My resolutions/word for the year is Balance. I have written out all my goals and hope to succeed in making them happen! Leave me a comment telling me your word or your goals for 2017 and I will send a lucky winner some DoubleClick Skittles! (sorry US only due to shipping fees) but I would still love to hear your goals for 2017 if you are outside the US!

I have to give a shout out to my bestie Georgiana for encouraging me to get back to blogging!

It felt great to pull out my supplies and get crafty!

I am getting ready for my run and wanted to post a card I started working on yesterday. Pretty much everything that could go wrong while card making, went wrong with this card! So needless to say I am happy that I was able to salvage it and get it posted!

First DIGI Stamp!

After watching the tutorial on Dilsaver Designs on how to color a Digi Stamp using Crayola and baby oil I wanted to try it out!

My first attempt at the skin color came out yellow, so I started over using a different colored pencil. I used the Crayola twistables, baby oil, and blending stumps.

I enjoyed the technique and will definitely be practicing!

Here she is....

Oval from Tags, Bags Boxes and More
Paper from DCWV Mat Stack
