Serenity Scrappers Pot Luck...
Serenity Scrappers is have a Pot Luck week... And I think it means anything goes??
So here is my anything goes....
My 9Year old chickie made this adorable picture for her penpal, I said Ohhhh so sweet and super crafty, I think I will copy you and make a card. So I pinned it up on my board and figured I would make the card when I had some time.
But the next day she said, did you mail my letter to my penpal and I said yes I did, (because I did) She said well you forgot to put my picture in it!!
Yup! I sent her letter and had her picture still pinned to my board! Oops! I will be sending her picture with the next letter.....
Anyways!!! Here is my inspiration:And here is my card:
The tree is from the Serenity Swap, the butterfly is from PaperPups, the bee is from Walk in my Garden and the sun from Doodlecharms!

I swapped some pattern papers with my friend and received these awesome pastel patterns, I just love them so I started my card with that. I then used the sketch from PaperCraft Star. My Sheri Crafts Challenge # 15 Vacations
My Sheri Crafts Challenge # 15 Vacations
The challenge over at My Sheri Crafts is vacations, and I made the base for this card and could not decide what to put on it, so I went through all my scrap cuts and found this palm tree and it clicked!
So this is where I would like to be on vacation....I think I made the palm tree with SCAL but I'm not for sure and the island is from Create a Critter.

The BBTB2 Is having a challenge contest! Here are the rules:
So, let's base this contest on fall. Make a project that is fall related (you can even do Halloween!) that includes a Cricut cut and a stamp of some sort.
Here is my entry:
The pumpkin cut I received in a cricut swap cut from Bonkdawn, the paper is from Recollections Halloween stack, I used my Martha Stewart drippy goo punch, added some thick white thread and some Halloween bling from my stash. 1. Follow the sketch.
2. Use black and white only with 1 accent color of your choice.
3. Use a punch.
As always, use something "Cricut" on your creation!

Highway 20 Ride...
One of my favorite songs right now is Highway 20 Ride from Zac Brown...
I ride east every other Friday, but if I had it my way my day would not be wasted on this drive....
I"m listening to it right now!
So when I saw the challenge over at Frosted Designs I knew exactly what song I wanted to do!
Here is the challenge:
So this week I want to you use a song lyric somewhere on your project. It can be from any song in any genre. Just make sure you have fun thinking about it and let us know who the artist is so maybe we can get to know some great new music.
Here is my entry:
I love how this turned out! I used a 5X7 Card, some old map paper, the highway sign is from Going Places and the truck is from New Arrivals.
The letters are a rubber type which I thought felt like wheels and the ribbon like a road!
I enjoyed making this one!
This also is being entered into the Paper Cutz Challenge:
For challenge # 51, make a card, LO or craft project using a digital, hand stamped or Cricut cut image of something with wheels, and any colors or theme you'd like.
And
Alphabet Challenge Blog: M is for Men
I think this card would be great to give to a Dad or Husband that is taking a trip!

This is how I am spending my Thursday Night....
What a mess! I am going to my friend's house to scrap tomorrow and I could not find my extra white gel pen....so I emptied my cabinets and still can't find it! Now I am procrastinating putting it all back neat and organized so I'm posting about it instead!
I also pulled out some stuff that I haven't used in awhile.... Time for blog candy??

Serenity Scrappers Place to Visit
Serenity Scrappers is have a challenge!
Here are the details:
Do a two page 8x8 layout
The theme is "someplace you like to visit/travel"
Since I am working on a goal of completing a scrapbook for my friend for Christmas, I decided this was the perfect challenge for me to get another page done!
Every chance they get they go to the dunes... it is on the Arizona/California border.... and it is nothing but sand! They take their camper and sand rail and just play in the sand! I really wanted it to look like the photos I have seen and this sand paper did the trick! I added the Happy Trails because that is the phrase they use and the camper is just like theirs! I used going places for all the cuts.
I do plan on altering this later because this is an 8X8 Lay-out and the one I am making is 8 1/2x11, so I will be adding a title that says "THE DUNES" and "SAND RULES"
