My Saddest Days, Running on Auto-Pilot, and Updates of Where I Have Been. Rest in Peace our beloved Kimber

Hello Friends, some of you may have noticed that my blog has been running on auto-pilot. These past few weeks have been a trying time for me and my blog has taken a back seat.

I was involved in a car accident, that goodness myself and the other driver were not hurt, but I did total my car. So I have been dealing with all the things that you have to handle when involved in an accident.

My precious girl Kimber, that has been my constant companion for the last 10 years was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer just a few weeks ago. By our sides she grew up with my girls, our family friend, our lives. She spent countless hours at my feet while I crafted, hiked and ran many miles with us and was by far the most loyal friend we ever had. We were told we just have a couple of months left with her. Unfortunately her health quickly deteriorated and we had to say goodbye to our precious girl.  Please pray us as we deal with the loss of our girl.

Here are some of my favorite pictures:

  1. oh friend I am in tears to hear about your best friend Kimber. Anyone who has dogs know how they are like a deeply loved member of the family. They are the ones that are there for you when no one else is. I hope you take your time to grieve and I will be here for you when you get back. If you need to talk about it just email me. Hugs and bless you friend.

  4. Sorry for your pet loss. Kimber when younger resembles my new adopted dog Daisy. I had to put down my dog, Teddy, of 13 yrs in May due to tongue cancer.

  5. I am so, so sorry for your loss, Carri. I know exactly how you are feeling and the only thing that helps is time. My sweet Dakota also developed bone cancer and I could tell he was in pain. I had to make the difficult decision to let him go and it was the hardest thing. I was blessed to have him for 15 years but it wasn't long enough. Pets are such a blessing and even though they aren't with us for long, they enrich our lives so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'm so glad you weren't hurt in the accident. Take all the time you need to heal. Hugs.

  11. Carri I am so sorry for the loss of Kimber, so sad for you and the family losing a dear friend and family member. Love the photos and tribute you displayed of her. I know just what you are going through. It was so hard letting go of our little guy, but we knew when it was time. I still miss him and he has been gone 14 years. We had him for 19 years and the memories are wonderful. I'm keeping you in prayer for comfort and peace and may your wonderful memories be a true blessing to you. Have a Blessed day my dear friend, DIANA L.
