Gobble Gobble! A turkey page for my Smashbook!

Thank you for joining us for our new challenge! We enjoyed looking at your Gypsy Entries! We appreciate you joining us and hope you will join us for this next challenge!

Theme Thanksgiving must include a Turkey!

I started cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving when I was 19 years old, I won't lie and tell you every one was a success! My first few years were rough, like not knowing that a turkey takes 3-4 days to thaw out, not knowing the turkey has some surprises from both ends that you actually need to pull them out before cooking, thinking a thin throw away tin pan will hold a 18 lb turkey... well I could go on, but 20 years later I consider myself a pro-turkey cooker! I do tend to take a photo of my well cooked bird just for fun so of course this year my photo will be going in my smashbook! Along with a fun list of turkey know~ how for my girls! I decided to use brads so my scallop squares can be used to hold a photo and I was able to journal under them!

Here is my project:

Turkey from DoodleCharms Cricut Cartridge
Sizzix Scallop squares
Stickers and Chipboard all from my Stash
Paper from K and Co

  10. I like the journal tag use. I made an Autumn scrapbook layout and used a pumpkin with a leaf brad to flip up for view of my journaling on separate pumpkin underneath.
