True Love! Non Traditional Valentine's Day tag!

With Valentine's Day just around the corner I wanted to make a tag for my Husband's goody bag! I had in my mind exactly what I wanted so I actually pulled out my Gypsy to help me make it. The tag is huge at over 7"! 

I just love how it turned out! 

Now we never carved our initials in a tree trunk but we have sketched them in wet cement!

Merry Chritsmas Tree Tag! Non Traditional Colors. Last Chance to win Blog Candy!

I hope everyone is enjoying the last few days before Christmas is here! I still have some errands to run today. I just have not been on my A game and have had to make multiple trips, returns, mistakes, forgetfulness just to get where I am and that isn't far along! I make a list, then I loose it. Then I make another list, then forget to look at it! So I have a very strict list that I must follow because I am also working right up until the holiday! And I am sad to say I never did mail out any cards for my family. Maybe if I start working on cards now I can mail them all Valentines??


And I haven't forgotten!! I still need to draw 2 winners for my blog candy!! So you still have time to enter HERE and HERE!!

Merry Christmas!! It's Xmas in July! Christmas Tree Card

My goal for Christmas cards this year is to make them flat! This is super hard for me since I like to add lots of ribbon and layers. Last year I needed 2 stamps for every card I mailed out! So this year, I am trying hard to make them flat, but still have my style! I resisted and did not use any pop dots on this, but I was still able to add a few layers and texture using an embossing folder.

For you.... Cute Tree Kraft Tag! And some Updates!

Hello Crafty Friends! I will be doing some traveling over the next two weeks and will not have internet access while I am away.. *GASP* What will I do??

I have several posts on pre-post for some upcoming challenges and design team projects along with a super fun hop. I hope you will join in on all the fun that we have going on. I will catch up on all my visiting when I return the first week of May. I hope I will have maybe one more project toward the end of the week to share before I leave. I will miss everyone!

While I should be packing, I just had to sneak in a quick CAS tag, Now I consider this CAS  compared to how I create!And it took me under 10 minutes.

I have also been trying hard to use my supplies that have taken over! So my entire project is made from my scrap cardstock pile. I also used a background stamp that I bought used from someone in 2009 that I never used before! I also took on the task of organizing my buttons!! And was easily able to find just the perfect buttons to add!
