Back to School Blog Hop Day 3!

Welcome Blog Hop Day 3!!

My daughter needed a composition notebook this year for her journal so I decided to make it more fun for her. Here is a photo of the book before: Pretty boring!!

Here is the front after:
Here is the back after!

This project was soooo easy to make! I let her pick the paper she wanted from one of my 12x12 paper packs. Then I just measured and glued! I did add a colored spine border and some ribbon for extra bling. I wanted to add lots of bling but was afraid of what would happen to it shoved in her desk! She LOVED it and so did all of her friends!

  1. Easy idea. I might even let my students decorate their own. They would love it and maybe take better care of it during the school year.

  2. So cute. I have my kiddos do this the first week back. They bring in all sorts of scrap paper and pictures and decorate their writing journals. Then we cover them up with clear contact paper.
