Sweet Peach Happy Birthday Flat Card!

My girls are in their 2nd week of school. The adjustment of them being at 2 different schools this year has been a tough one. Probably more for me then them! I have been trying to keep my craft counter clean so when I have a few minutes I can sneak in and craft.

Welcome to the Embossing Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you hopping along with us today! This blog hop is sure to provide lots of fun tips and tricks on embossing techniques , a fun challenge using one of the techniques you see here today and there will be some candy along the way!!

Georgiana asked us to pick an embossing technique and share a tip, trick or technique.
I decided to do dry embossing with highlighting of chalk. The supplies you will need are a Cuttlebug machine, Embossing Folder, CardStock, and chalk.
 Preserves Folder
 Pebbles Chalk

 Select the colors you like and run the chalk along the embossed paper:
Keep Going!
 Finished!
 Now you can add some bling! I used Stickles and Liquid Pearls:


 Now you have a great embossed and colorful background! I hope you will give this chalking technique a try!

Special Post.... Have an "Ice" Day!!

Today I am posting a special post and I am super excited!
Meg, my 9 year old was asked to be a guest designer over at More than Favors! Of course she said Yes!

Wacky Wednesday Challenge: Create a project using wet or dry embossing.
Meg's Bio:

Hi my name is Meg. My favorite color is green . I am 9 years old . I like to draw things like elephants and when I see things that are cool I enjoy drawing it . My favorite subject is art .  I collect erasers . I  am excited to be a guest designer .
