Updates, Updates and MORE updates!!
Just wanted to send out a quick update with a few things to keep my friends up to date on all that has been happening.
For the last few weeks I have been dealing with my puppy having a severe illness called Valley Fever that he may not recover from. He has permanent heart and lung damage. We have struggled for so many days in complete despair feeling helpless as he is barely hanging on. We have put everything on hold and have dedicated every second to giving Winston a fighting chance. My blog has been on auto-pilot and I have not been around to visit anyone. Simply because I am either at work or holding my little man tight. Please understand and know that I will return and miss you all so much.
Please say a prayer for us, for him, for me, for my girls. Most of you know that it was only 1 year ago that I lost Kimber and I just don't think my heart could handle the loss of this little man.
My next update is also sad, I have decided to end my design team for the DoubleClickSkittles. This decision has kept me up at night, but it simply is just too much for me right now with all that is going on. I have had the most amazing team that I could ask for. They are amazing crafters and friends! I appreciated every project and they used the DoubleClickSkittles with such creativity! I will miss them dearly! Terry, Julie, Lori and Georgiana, Thank you all so much!
DoubleClickSkittles will still be available for sale in my shop
I do plan on keeping the challenges going and hope you will all continue to play along! I always have a fun prize to be won!
Now onto the regularly scheduled program!!
Welcome to the DoubleClick Skittles Challenge! We are in a brand new challenge this week!
Dates: March 30, 2016 - April 12, 2016

Have you checked out all the Skittle Color choices? You can view them all HERE!
I just had to pick current teenage lingo for this Smashbook page of myself:
Runner hair
Don't care!
And it is true! I keep my hair straight and have an exact measurement of the shortest it can be cut for the purpose of being able to be pulled back into a pony tail! #priorities! I just LOVED that I was able to dig into my stash of goodies and use up so many supplies and embellishments! DoubleClickSkittles fit just perfect into these embellishment clusters!
Project Life Cards
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
Scissors Charm
Brads, enamel dots, stickers

ReplyDeleteOh, Carri, I am praying for Winston and for your family. Your project is fabulous!! I keep my hair long to fit in a pony tail because it's too easy to just pull it up and not even worry about a style ;) All of the DT projects are fabulous. Thinking of you my friend. Big hugs :)

ReplyDeleteOh Carri- I am so sorry to hear about your puppy!! My daughter is also having problems with her puppy, and they keep changing what they think is wrong....it is very unsettling! Will be praying for your puppy to get better! Sorry also to hear about your team decision...but thankful you are still going to have skittles!
ReplyDeleteAmazing projects Carri!
ReplyDeleteSending prayers to you & Winston!I completely understand..last year my cockateil got very sick on us and I was not myself for a couple of days and William had gone out to get Fred (my cutie bird) medicine (some drops) that a veterinarian told us to buy and we had to wait to see if there were changes..those days that waited my prayers became more & stronger. Within a week Fred was better and continued to improve. I thank the lord for that. He is my mini me..lol
Have a blessed day,

Carri, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know all too well how difficult it is to help a sick pet. Please know that Winston and you are in my thoughts and prayers. xox
ReplyDeleteEven though your decision about the DT was a difficult one, it sounds like the best one. You need to prioritize and that's a good thing!
Your page is fabulous! It's wonderful to see you and I chuckled that your run hair needs to fit in a ponytail! When I was at the pool each morning, my hair had to be quick and easy.
Great projects by the DT! I love puns!
You & yours are in my thoughts. That is so difficult. I'm glad you will still have time for blogging -- we have to step away sometimes! Thanks for another fun challenge. Best, CG
