DoubleClick Skittles Furry Friend Challenge! Check out the team and my Smashbook page!

Hello Crafty Friends! We are in week 2 of our current challenge!

Welcome to the DoubleClick Skittles Challenge! Who is ready to get crafty??

Welcome to challenge #34 here at DoubleClick!!

Dates: October 28, 2015 - November 10, 2015

Challenge: Furry Friend!
Winston:

Have you checked out all the Skittle Color choices? You can view them all HERE!

I've been working on my smashbook and it has really been helping me "process" and move on from some of my harder times. Kimber will be gone 1 year this month, I thought about doing a page in her honor, but it is still too upsetting to even think about. So I decided to celebrate Winston instead. We rescued this little guy and he has helped our family start to heal. He was only about 5 months old when we adopted him and it was obvious he had a rough life before us.  Over the past year we have loved him, taken care of him, and he is just the sweetest, cutest little mister!

I love how DoubleClick Skittles work in such harmony with the other embellishments!

Papers from DCWV Pet Stack
Project Life Cards
Tons of die cuts, cork embellishments, wood veneers, stickers, tabs, washi tape and lot of other goodies I dug out of my stash of supplies
DoubleClick Skittles: Black

  1. Winston is a cutie. I too also lost a fur friend, Teddy, who had cancer of the tongue last yr and rescued a new fur friend, Daisy Aug of last yr. Daisy had 2 owners before me & shelter had it written down that the woman of the 2nd ownership said Daisy did not listen. Well, Daisy listens wonderfully. Daisy was a bit rowdy when I first got her when I took her on walks wanting to meet & greet the other dogs. She got away from me twice and ran across the street towards 2 other dogs. After I took her thru training at Petco and bought a harness she walks with me in charge and does not bolt to run across the street anymore. She likes the Dog Park where she can run & play with other dogs.

  3. Winston is so cute. Your DT made gorgeous furry animal projects. At the moment we have three dogs. Lanie moved home with her puppy. We rescued a dog a few years back her name is Scruffy. In december I am having a table at a craft fair that benefits a rescue place in Oakland. I have made tons of dog and cat cards. I will be sure to make another and add it to your fun challenge.

  8. Winston is so full of personality and I love that he found his forever family! I know what you mean about not being able to scrapbook a Kimber layout yet because I still am unable to scrap my sweet Bailey, a cat that we lost almost 3 years ago. You will know when you're ready and in the meantime, you have Kimber in your heart.
