In a previous post I wrote about the bags that my Daughters make for the homeless, You can see it HERE. We ran out of bags so on Sunday my Daughters and I made new bags. We now include a personal handmade card in each bag in hopes of spreading some cheer.
Here are the cards I made:
All my papers are from scraps
Felt flowers are from Sizzix Frame Die cut and Cuttlebug Flower Die
(So I saw a challenge for 12 year old and under... but of course I can't find it... if anyone know which one it is please leave it in a comment! thanks!)
This card was for sure a labor of love! I used so many techniques it took me hours! I am super happy with how it came out!
Thank you to Frosted Design That posted this chipboard tutorial HERE that I used on my chipboard. I used some stamps from Docerela Creations and KI Memories, heat embossed and covered with Distress Crackle Paint rock candy and walnut stain distressed ink:
I needed a quick tag so I used the back of the packaging that some school stickers came in, I finished it off with some Tim Holtz Reinforcements, walnut stain and The Twinery Cappuccino:
Once again I dug deep into my stash and went old school with some fun alphabet paper. DCWV Spring Stack 2009 Apple cut has hoarded from a swap back in 2010. I covered it in UTEE and added Martha Stewart Snow Glitter Recess arrow, fussy cut, sanded and inked Book worm from April showers, used my Gypsy to hide the face Peachy Keen PK 754 Critter Faces. Glossy accents for the glasses Lime Green Stickles Gems Border number sticker from TPC Studios Apple Button
I am behind on visiting, My Mom was in the hospital all week and thankfully was released Friday Night. I am slowly getting caught up and will be by to visit soon!
Today is my day to post over at 3 Girl Jam!
I decided to dig DEEP into my stash and I pulled out the first paper pad I ever purchased... 2009 the DCWV Spring stack! I remember thinking that I would never need more paper than this stack! LOL! I am embarrassed to say how many stacks I now have! It did bring back a lot of memories as I flipped through the pages and why this was a "must" have stack! I decided to take some papers and sentiments from the stack and make a page for my Smashbook! I was so thrilled to see how perfect my 3 girl jam products matched perfectly!
