This is where I have been! And A Happy Birthday Card!

WoWzer!! We have been so busy doing Family things! This is where my Daughter and I have been:


We went to the Grand Canyon! It was truly amazing! I have lived in Arizona for almost 20 years and this was my first time seeing it! We had a great time!

I am so behind on visiting and hope to catch up this weekend and early next week! I did spend a few minutes here and there and came up with this card for a few challenges!





I used my gypsy and created this scallop square card base, cut on Kraft Card-stock
Bird is from Give A Hoot
Mini Scallop squares are from Cuttlebug Die

Paper from K and Company
Tim Holtz Distressed ink Walnut Stain

    That's too funny.. cause I have lived in AZ for about 30 years... and haven't visited it in about 20 years! LOL!! I Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the photos you took and loving the card... I love the colors and that bird!

    How fun... family things are so important, glad you were able to go. i took my kids probably 20 years ago, it was a fast trip, we were on our way to Texas, i would love to go again. Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL.. you must have a good camera. AND what a sweet card, i love how you layered it and the bird is too cute. hugs from ukiah

    Wonderful bird birthday card. Especially like the shades of blue. Visited the Grand Canyon several yrs ago. More recent visited Utah Bryce Canyon & Zion National Park. I enjoyed Bryce Canyon more than Grand Canyon.

    Your card is so beautiful, Carri!! I love the pretty bird and the shape is fabulous!! Your Grand Canyon pics are so awesome!! I was just there this past fall and it is so amazing!! We just did the tour around the top...I would have loved to go down into the canyon. Maybe next time :)

    OMG! those pictures are gorgeous!! I lived in Chandler, AZ for about 3-4 years and i never went either and have yet to see that AMAZING view!! One day for sure!! Love your card Carri with the bright blue color!!

    I've been dying to know how your field trip went!! Sounds like it was great and theose photos are gorgeous. I can't believe you haven't been before!!!!! You didn't tell me that! I don't live in the state and I have been there a couple of times!! ha The last time we got their right before sunset....magnificent!

    Beautiful card and beautiful pics!! :) I have a challenge for you if you don't mind. I'm trying to make my husband some "love coupons" and I think it would be awesome to see your ideas on something like This. :) I'm using playing cards patterned paper and attempting to keep it manly...we will see how it goes. :) Looking forward to a video of it if You decide to do this.
