Hi everyone! I am Guest Designer today for Amy over at Love to Crop! I am a longtime follower of Amy's blog she has a very active blog (which I love!) She is always involved in a blog hop, challenge or something fun! She is super generous by offering sweet candies, but I have to tell you I always look forward to her question! She always asks a fun question at the end of her post, have you noticed this? So to keep up with Amy's tradition my question for you today is how many hours a day do you spend blog hopping? I spend about 1 hour and 15 minutes every night leaving comments! HeHe that is sooo bad!
Ok now onto the challenge!!
The Love to Crop Challenge for Today is Circles!
I wanted to think "outside the box" today so I made a circle card with many circle elements!
Here is my project:
Card base and layers from Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge Stamped with Script stamp
All papers from Tim Holtz Lost and Found Paper Stack
I used a silver metal brad that was indented, stamped a Happy Birthday and filled it with Glossy Accents.
Tim Holtz Distressed inks: Walnut stain and Old Papers
Martha Stewart Twine
Swirl Metal Clip
Swirl Metal Clip
Entering into:
Tuesday Throwdown: Shape Card
Celebrate the Occasion: Male B-day + Metal
Love your circle shaped card Carri! The Tim Holtz paper is awesome and I really like that swirl metal clip. Very cool piece. Great card! good luck in the challenges.
ReplyDeleteI very on the amount I spend blog hopping a night but on average probably about 1 1/2- 2 hrs. It's addicting...ha?
Have a great day my friend:)

ReplyDeletevery pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, such a fun theme, really great! Thanks for joining us this week @ CTO :)
ReplyDeleteCool card, Carri. Very nice! I spend a lot of time blog hopping. But while I'm in my scrap room all evening on the computer, I'm also stopping for breaks, a snack, a drink, and because my TV is behind me, I'm always turning around to watch it! So I can't put an actual time spent blogging, just that I'm in my room anywhere from 4-5 hours a night! Good question!--Pat
ReplyDeleteSuch a fantastic card!! Love the metal circle embellishment! I spend far too much time in front of my computer- it's not healthy. :) But it's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool card Carri and love Tim's paper you used:) Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Love this masculine card! And as for your question...I spend way more time blog hopping then actually crafting lol. I am probably around the same amount of time as you!

This is awesome Carrie, I LOVE THESE PAPERS AND THE DESIGN IS SUPER. I like the idea of the stamping and then the glossy accents. Contrast! on your design spot.
ReplyDeleteCarri, as usual, I am truly amazed and inspired by your creativity -- And I am humbled by your kind words!! I do love my questions cuz it's such an AWESOME way to get a little PEEK at who my fabulous followers are!! I really LOVE reading all the fun answers -- Sometimes they will make me cry and sometimes they will make me laugh out loud, but ALWAYS they make me feel like this amazing community of creative bloggers is right here in my neighborhood!! I am guilty of spending MANY hours hopping through the bloggie-world from my smarty phone... When I'm waiting for an appointment, riding (as passenger) in a car, during commercials, even when I'm stuck in stand-still construction traffic (but not while moving, I promise!!)... I try to finish all my at-home hopping/commenting in under an hour, but I find I get side-tracked and can spend HOURS visiting blogs and enjoying the projects. Wow!! There won't be any room left if I don't end this soon... So anyway, thank you SO much for being a Guest Designer for my circle challenge -- You certainly are an awesome addition to my circle of friends!! :)

I had to look twice at that paper...love it! I sure wish I had more time to hop, but the school schedule is busy again. Hoping to schedule an hour each day too, so I can visit everyone. I sure do miss the creations.

ReplyDeleteLove your card. Thanks for playing along at CTO
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous circle card! Love all the circular elements you added too. Wow, you spend a lot of time hopping around!! I probably spend on average 5-20 minutes a day.
ReplyDeleteI love your card. That paper is fantastic! Ohhh, I hate to admit it, but I probably can spend a couple of hours looking at blogs, commenting, looking for challenges to enter, etc. etc. While my husband is watching the ball games, I'm blogging. He likes for me to be in the same room, so I craft in the afternoons before he gets home!

I absolutely LOVE this, Carri! What a clever card!
ReplyDeleteWell, lately I've been working until midnight(or later) and have had very little time to blog at all. I've had far too much on my plate! However, during my "calmer" times, I like to spend about an hour of my evenings going to my favourite blogs. This includes commenting as part of DT requirements too.
I'm playing catch up now!
