I found this awesome challenge blog Etsy Inspired Challenge Blog thanks to Cokie Pop!
The challenge is: This week we are visiting Muffa. In the Muffa world, there are OOAK handmade micro miniature animals, thread crocheted bears, gnomes, and fairies. And when we say MICRO--they are TINNNNNY!
You had to search her store which is AMAZING and select an item of inspiration.
Here is the item I selected:
Can you believe how tiny this is??
Here is my entry:
I had so much fun creating this and it was super challenging for me!!
First I designed the globe with my Gypsy and DoodleCharms
The mushrooms are from Simply charmed
Grass is from Create a Critter
Little flowers are from a Martha Stewart Border Punch with an added pearl
Mosiac embossing for the bottom of the globe.
And the Gnome was the tricky part!! I could not find a Gnome on any of my Cartridges, so I studied the inspiration photo and realized the Gnome looked like a hat and sure enough the hat in Mini Monsters was PERFECT!!
I cut it three times once in red, blue and cream and cut the pieces to fit. I used sharpie for the eyes and Deco-Art for the beard.
I layered my ribbon from Portafolia (New)
the paper is Recollections Xmas ( New)
and the pattern paper is from Heidi Grace (New)
Popped up Acetate for globe.
