Welcome to our Embellish Me with Quilling Blog Hop!
Thank you for hopping along with us today!
If you are here from Jennifer's blog Creative Quilled Creations then you are in the right place! If you have stumbled upon this hop and want to start from the beginning head on over to Linda's blog here! You don't want to miss any of the amazing projects!
I do not quill myself, however it is on my list of things I want to learn! I love how amazing quilled pieces look, and admire all projects that incorporate quilled pieces.
So If you also do not quill you can do what I did and ask a quiller to make some quilled pieces for you! LOL!!
Thanks to our blog hop host Linda, she was so kind to send these my way to show how easy is it to incorporate quilled pieces onto your project as embellishments, and let me tell you I love embellishments!!
Since I need a Birthday card I will be using the cupcakes. But no worries I have plans for all these pieces!
Standard size A2 card
Layer 1 solid paper 5 1/4x4
Layer 2 Pattern paper 5X3 3/4
Strip of solid card stock 12X3 Scored every 3"
Coordinating pattern paper 2 3/4X2 3/4 times5
Long strip of ribbon or craft string
Standard size A2 card
Layer 1 solid paper 5 1/4x4
Layer 2 Pattern paper 5X3 3/4
Strip of solid card stock 12X3 Scored every 3"
Coordinating pattern paper 2 3/4X2 3/4 times5
Long strip of ribbon or craft string
Use up those scraps!!
Now add your five squares to the 12" strip. One on the front cover and four on the inside.
Turn the strip over and run a strip of double-sided tape and add a long enough piece of ribbon to tie in the front. Mine is 12" long.
Then adhere the strip to the front of your card.
Now add fun embellishments.
I hope you enjoyed my project and will come back to visit!
Before you leave I have blog candy for you!
Two sets of Scrappy Cat stamps! Elegant Memoir and Twist of Lime!
Sorry Due to postal issues this is open to US Residents.
I will draw and announce the winner on December 14
**One entry per person please**
