Valentine's Day Already!

It is hard to believe Valentine's Day is right around the corner! So with all the great stamps, paper, ribbons, and fun things the stores are already selling... it is so easy to make super cute and super fast Valentine's Day Cards!

Love Grows... I used the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge to make the card with the window and the tree from Stretch your imagination. I cuddlebugged the Green on the tree for extra. A few hearts for the tree and love grows stamp and its good to go!
Love Note... This is my favorite card. I used the Wild Card Cartridge for the window card, and for the LOVE NOTE, I used the Accent Essentials for the double hearts.
Loads of Love... I used the Walk in my Garden Cricut Cartridge for the wheel barrel and the Hearts from Paper Pups. I hand stamped the load of love with abc stamps from Scrappy cats. ( I'm a terrible stamper!)
Your Perfect... I love my Paper pups cartridge and I Picked up this awesome leather type paper that is already sticky. they cut like butter and the pups cut so nicely. I picked up the heart brads from Hobby Lobby, they were a little smaller than what I thought but they work.
Be Mine... I had the thought of doing a card that looked like the candy conversation heart, I tried three or four different cards but could not get what I had in my mind actually out on a card. This was as close as I could get! I used the ransom Alphabet from Sizzex which completely ruined my plates to my cuddlebug!! (I show that in my next blog!!) the heart is from Paper Pups.

Just Hearts... I love the outline of hearts and the Accent Essentials has great ones, I found the paper at Target in the dollar bins ( love that)

My Take on Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge

Here is my take on the Hello Kitty Greetings Salutations cartridge for the Cricut Expression. It was one of the cartridges that I wanted the most when I started researching which one to buy because I loved the "chunkyness" of the features. So I was so excited when I finally purchased it. But after using it, it is definitely harder to figure out than the other cartridges. You have to work at finding the correct sizes for each layer and there are so many layers to each one. So I have been using it, and practicing with it and I came to the decision that this cartridge best works when you print the design in a large size!

Here are some of the cards I came up with using the Hello Kitty Cartridge:
This one is the HK1-s on page 29.
The ribbon is from Target.

This is the Strawberry from page 32 strbry-s

This is a Happy Birthday the cupcake is from page 41 cupcak-s

Here is Halloween Hello Kitty from page 70 hk18-s

And here is the Hello Kitty from Christmas and this one took the longest! Its on page 74 hk19-s and the neon green behind the Kitty is what the shadow feature will do:

Stay tuned for my take on Paper Pups!
