I used to be able to work and complete a baby album in one weekend.... those days are long gone! Now I can barely get one page done over a few days!  Here is another page for the album I am in the process of making:

No Soliciting Sign! First Vinyl Project!

I have been wanting to make a no soliciting sign for a long time. I found lots of funny ones that I thought about doing but I really wanted to just get one made and on my door before anyone else rang my doorbell! This is the first time I used vinyl that I can remember. It was hard to get the letters straight and I did it without transfer tape. 

I used black cardstock and cut the design out from Twinkle Toes Cricut Cartridge

I then laminated it add some think hemp cord and hung it on my front door:

I think it is perfect!

Back To School Book Worm Volunteer Notebook!

My girls have been in school for 5 weeks already! It may be September but here in Arizona we are still seeing temperatures of 108 so it still feels like summer! 

If all goes as planned, this will automatically post because we will be installing my Daughter's furniture today! We had a set back with the paint colors, which originally were watermelon green and pink. However, once on the wall the green was really cartoon looking so it was back to square one. After many paint samples she finally picked Mint Majesty! We are thinking yellow for accent but that will be decided after the furniture gets moved in!

My Daughter needed a way to track her volunteer hours, so I made her this altered mini notebook. Her requests was that it had lots of ribbon on the side and her name so no one would steal it.  (She never recovered from when someone stole the bookmark I made her in 1st grade!)

I really enjoyed my day off from work for Labor Day! I did my best to stay in my craft room and only left it to feed my family! LOL! It was so much fun! I did a lot of cleaning and putting away supplies while I crafted. And made this entire card including the base out of my scrap paper pile!

Hello crafty friends! This time of the year is so super busy with kids going back to school and adjusting to new schedules! I have been doing my best to stop by and visit, and I am sorry if I missed someone along the way. I am still working on my own schedule along with the rest of my family. I dislike the idea of having to "schedule" craft time, but right now it seems the only way. There is just so much I want to do in my day! :)
