Once a month my Daughters invite their friends over and I teach them how to make cards. They make two cards each. One for which ever Holiday is upcoming and then a Birthday, Thank you, get well etc.
Here are some of the cards they made:
They love it! We usually have 8-10 girls come. We ask each person to bring $1.00 that goes to the American Cancer Society. I pre-cut all the cricut cuts and card bases before they arrive and all the rest is used from scraps. Aren't they great?!

Ok so a family tradition that we have is setting up a Leprechaun trap! Every year I tell my girls they should not do it because Leprechauns are tricksters!
Here is the trap my little one made this year:
But she was sooo upset this morning when she found this:
So you're trying to catch me while I look for the gold
I am a smart trickster haven't you been told
Well listen I am a little leprechaun and I got away and this here is the scoop
For trying to catch me I have left you a surprise it is my lucky leprechaun poop
Ok so she did not find it as funny as I did, she used a tissue and flushed the leprechaun poop down the toilet and claimed she is never going to try and catch a Leprechaun again!

ReplyDeleteOMG, that is the funniest thing I've ever seen! My husband was reading this over my shoulder, and we both laughed out loud as we read the part of how she got rid of the leprechaun "evidence". I love the idea of the card classes too, we might start something like that. Thank you so much for entering the Thankful Thursday challenge :o)

ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Ok, first - I love the idea of a card class. I've had several people ask me how to make cards, so I may have to borrow this idea. :) Second - those cards are all adorable!! They did such an amazing job! :) Third - LOL!!!!HAHAHAHAHA!!! That took me a while to stop laughing!!!!! I love the leprechaun trap, and the leprechaun poop - HILARIOUS!!! I especially loved that she picked it up with a tissue and flushed it!! LOL!!! So fun!!! TFS! :)

ReplyDeleteROTFL!!! I have 2 li'l girls, well not quite so little anymore, 10 and 12 and they were just wondering what I was laughing so much about and I read this to them. Now they are laughing too. THANKS for making our day. Too funny! I'm just sorry your DD took it that way and didn't get a giggle out of it! LOL!

Awww, your daughter was hurt by the bad leprechaun. It is a funny saying but not so much for her. Very cute family tradition. Also, what a great thing you do for your daughter and her friends.
