Trust in the Lord with all Your Heart

I do a lot of traveling for work and come across many homeless people, so a friend of mine gave me an idea a few months ago to make bags to give to the homeless while I am driving by and see them. I gave out my last bag on Friday so my Girls and I spent this morning after church restocking bags to keep in the car. We fill them with water, snacks, socks, washcloth, soap, sanitizer and other items. I decided this time I would add a spiritual card and hand write a personal message on the inside of each one. Here is my first card:

  1. I think this is a great idea. It is also teaching the girls to help others. So many children now-a-days do not know the importance of doing a good deed "just because" they can.

  18. I've seen this idea on Pinterest and have thought to do it myself. I haven't done it yet because we don't really see many homeless where I generally travel. I think the card will be a lovely addition to your bags. You are a sweet woman. hugs, Stacy

  20. You are too sweet! I don't usually carry cash with me so I cringe when I see someone in some corner holding up a sign asking for anything. This is a great idea and one that is so useful. Thanks for the inspiration.
