Welcome to the Embossing Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you hopping along with us today! This blog hop is sure to provide lots of fun tips and tricks on embossing techniques , a fun challenge using one of the techniques you see here today and there will be some candy along the way!!

Georgiana asked us to pick an embossing technique and share a tip, trick or technique.
I decided to do dry embossing with highlighting of chalk. The supplies you will need are a Cuttlebug machine, Embossing Folder, CardStock, and chalk.
 Preserves Folder
 Pebbles Chalk

 Select the colors you like and run the chalk along the embossed paper:
Keep Going!
 Finished!
 Now you can add some bling! I used Stickles and Liquid Pearls:


 Now you have a great embossed and colorful background! I hope you will give this chalking technique a try!

  2. very pretty background!! I do the same technique only i use my ink pads and a q tip. I have wanted to use chalk but afraid that it would rub of and make a mess. does it actually stay in place?? I am canadian so pcik someone else if my number comes up!

  13. This is fabulous!!! I heard of inking the embossing folder and then running it through the cuttlebug, but never using chalk on your embossed paper. Awesome idea!!! I will have to give this a try! :)

  32. Your card is very sweet. I am brand new to embossing. I JUST got my Cuttlebug this week, and I'm going to actually make my first project for this hop today, so wish me luck. I've also only started heat embossing. I don't know anything about using chalk, and haven't considered trying it. Your video makes it look pretty easy. I may have to give it a try!
