You've been Boo-ed!!

In my neighborhood during Halloween time we Boo each-other. You make a goody bag filled with candy, fun stuff and include the story about Boo-ing someone, you sneak out when it is dark, leave it on the door step attach a ghost to the door, ring the bell and run! and It is supposed to be a secret! You boo two people then they boo two people etc. The boo left on the door lets people know you have already been boo-ed.

Here is the ghost I made to attach to the door when I BOO my neighbors:

Do you think they will know it's from me?

Here is the bucket of goodies:

You’ve been Boo-ed!!
The air is cool, the season fall
Soon Halloween will come to all
Ghosts and Goblins, spooks, galore….
Tricky witches at your door.

The spooks are after things to do.
A spook, in fact, brought you this “BOO” to you!!!
The excitement comes when friends like you, copy this note and make it two
We’ll all have smiles upon our faces.
No One will know who has “Boo”-ed
Who’s Places!
Just two short days to work your spell
Keep it a secret, hide it well.
Please join the fun, the season’s here.
So Spread the “BOO’S” and Halloween Cheer!

Happy Halloween!!

  7. Cute! That is so fun that you do this in your neighborhood. When I was still working, I was a paralegal at a big law firm and we used to do this, it was so fun because there were so many people.

  12. Hi Carri, Oh my gosh, we used to do this too! In our neighborhood, we called it being ghosted. It is the exact same thing, but we ghosted not booed. We haven't done it in a long time, well we personally haven't done it, we did it all the time when my kids we little. The neighbors might still do it. When we moved into the neighborhood(it is actually a street, with a cul-de-sac) we had the little kids, and there were a few houses with high school, and college kids, now that is us. (Oh that sounds so sad) hahah I am glad to see people are still doing it, and your goodies look great, I bet the neighbors all hope they get Booed by you!! Karen♥
