First Initial Wall Art!

I decided to bring my little chick to work with me. She asked if she could take a sheet of my pattern paper to make herself a fan. She laid it on one of my tables in my office and I noticed through out the whole day my eyes were drawn to it! I looked around my boring office and decided to make a piece of wall art using my first initial.

I used Plantin Schoolbook for the Letter C and cut it at 10 1/2"
Tim Holtz distressed inks for the edges.
Then I added all my favorite embellishments.
I LOVE how this turned out!! And now while I am sitting at work I just look at it and smile thinking about all my fun stuff waiting at home for me!

Sorry if I have not been around, I am spending some much needed quality time with my little girls! The summer is already going so fast so I am spending lots of time with them. I will be back to visiting more regularly soon! Thanks for understanding!

  2. Good Morning Carri, Glad your spending time with your babies :o) Your wall art is just lovely...I was wondering what material you used for your base? Is that chipboard under the paper? I would like to make a few for my son's room while he is away.

    Thanks,
