Waiting for Santa!

I made this  holiday card using an image that I won from JLJ Designs. The image was from a Halloween image, I just changed it up a bit! I colored it using Zig Memory System writer collection markers and Crayola twistable colored pencils. I stamped her dress with a little snowflake stamp, heat embossed it added some pearls. I used diamond stickes for her hat train. This is only my second time coloring an image! It is starting to grow on me! LOL

I wanted it to look like she was waiting on line to see Santa. The Santa sign is a stamp from KI Memories Marriage I just added the black paper for the pole.
I ended up cutting apart a stamp that said Santa is coming to town to use it for the SANTA on the sign.

Can you believe I looked through ALL my stamps and not one stamp said just Santa????!! How can that be?

Entering into the following challenges:
Always crafting: 1.Make anything using a stamped image (a sentiment does not count). We want to see how you pretty it up inking, embossed, coloring etc.  The stamp can either be an actual stamp that you stamp, or one that you print off the computer.

  5. Carri, I don't even know what to say. This is too cute for words. You did an incredible job with the coloring. What a great idea to make her waiting in line to see santa. Thank you so much for joining into our challenge, and putting so much into it. You are so super sweet!

Would you mind, when you get a chance, to e-mail me about the color system you used. I never heard of this before. I would like to do a separate blog post with your blog link so people can see another option when coloring stamps! If that is okay with you.
