A Day at the Beach!

I made this card for two challenges! It was fun to make.. a little sandy!
Creative inspirations challenge # 63. Click here to check it out. Beach theme!
Canadian Nickel Scrap 'n. Click h
ere to check it out. Summer project challenge!

I used DoodleCharms for the sand Castle and Create a Critter for the little crab. I hand cut the beach part and inked all the edges, the Pattern paper is from DCWV Summer stack and the sandy parts are from fine sandpaper!. It did cut on the Cricut, but it left grit everywhere! The tag and flowers are from target!

  1. Great project! We have summer weather, but no holidays yet. Your card has me itching to get to the beach! I'm hoping to enter at Canadian Nickel as well.

  3. Love this card Carri! The background paper is perfect and that little crab is just too cute! I really should use my Cricut more often than I do...maybe...just maybe you'll be my inspiration to dust it off and put it to use! Have a great day!

  5. Love the card!! Your definately inspiring me to start making more cards! My mother in law lives by the beach but doesn't get on it much because she doesn't get around as much as she used to.. this will be a great way to bring the beach to her!!

  6. Cute card.... I learned my lesson trying to cut black construction paper on my Cricut mat. It left black "dust" everywhere... You do know that you can take a brush and with light soapy water, scrub your mat and bring it back to life, doncha? I clean ALL of my mats. It's a lifesaver.
Have a great Arizona day, from Glendale, AZ.
