Hello Crafty Friends! I am so very excited for my first posting over at the Eyelet Outlet Blog! If you have watched my CKC hauls, you will know that I am addicted to the Eyelet Outlet brads, but I had NO IDEA all of the amazing other goodies they offer! You can check out the store HERE!
And please come check out my project over at the Eyelet Outlet Blog!
I really enjoy making embellishment clusters ahead of time, that way when I am crafting away I can just look through my all ready made clusters and add them to my projects. I already have a large bin of scrap die cuts, banners and shapes for layering then I build my base and then add my embellishments:
For my first embellishment:
Supplies used:
Scrap papers
The best is yet to come word sticker from Tim Holtz
Telephone, Silver Edge Pearl brads from the Eyelet Outlet
Clear Jewels and camera washi from the Eyelet Outlet
For my 2nd:
Scrap papers
DoubleClick Skittles: Slate
From the Eyelet Outlet:
Clear Jewels
Pearl Silver Brads
Paper Flowers
And my 3rd:
Paper scraps
Bella Blvd cloud stamp:
From the Eyelet Outlet:
Glitter washi
Bird Brad
Jewel Bling Pink
I don't have lots of time to craft, so while my supplies are out I take a look and see what I can create before I get started:
I added all of these washi tape embellishments to my projects, then I add any extras in a storage container for next time:

I have been on a mission to use my stash!! I LOVE to take something old and make something new!
For my project I decided to show you how I use my punches, dies and scrap paper to make embellishment clusters:
First I pull out my some of my punches:
And some dies:
Then some scrap papers:
Then I just punch out and die cut until all my scraps are gone:
I sort them in a divided container:
Next I just grab pieces and start layering:
I sew on some of them, add ribbon, gems, fun fur and DoubleClickSkittles for that extra touch!
Once I am done I keep all my finished embellishments in a little drawer on my craft counter:
And they are ready to go when I need an embellishment for a scrapbook page, Smashbook page, card or Mixed Media!
I also have some Blog candy to share, just be a follower and leave a comment! (sorry US only due to high custom fees)
Bits to make your own embellishment clusters!
