Happy Birthday! Sweet Elephant! Come join the DLART link party!

Happy New Year 2016! I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Year!

I would love to hear what your goals are! My main goal is to clear out and organize my entire house by November 2016. I started working on it last summer and made really good progress and completed about 35%. This year, I am fully committed and already have pages and pages of check lists to keep me on track. My craft room will be the last room to get sorted, for this room will take me the longest!

I also commit to maintain my healthy lifestyle which I am currently in year number 3! If anyone would like to "buddy up with me for accountability" and start the new year off as a starting point, you can check out my running blog here and leave me a comment!

Happy New Year! Some Updates and some Winners!! A time to reflect and a time to remember!

A time to reflect and a time to remember!

Happy New Year to all my friends! I want to say Thank You to all my blogging friends, and how much I am looking forward to 2014! I think this year we are all saying what happened to 2013??

Every year I like to take just a moment to Thank all my blogging friends that have taken the time to visit, comment and check in on me! This has probably been my hardest year, I am raising 2 Pre-Teen girls... need I say more?? LOL! I have slacked on visiting from just pure exhaustion some days! I attempt daily to find the balance but let's face it between a family, job, chores, kids, and every responsibility in between that is not an easy task. I am still 100% committed to our fitness, and this has taken some time out of my crafting but it is worth it. You can check out my running blog HERE. So thank you for all understanding my shorter visits! I promise to get back on track!

I didn't post any resolutions last year, so here are  my resolutions for this year:

Find a good balance to have it all

Keep running! ( I ran 715 miles in 2013!)

To Remember:

This day is always a day for me to remember my Dad. He unexpectedly passed away 1-1-00.
Fourteen years is a long time to miss someone.
Not a single day goes by that I don't think of him and all that he has missed.

Announcements:

I will be staying on with Docerela Creations and 3 Girl Jam! I am excited to showcase their products and hope you will all join in on the fun challenges!

My first day of 2013 Smashbook Style! Running into 2013

I had 2 New Year's resolutions last year, one was to make a Christmas card a week, ( I seriously only made 1!) and to enter the Crafters Companion Challenge once a month ( which I did until they change their entire challenge blog and I missed the last one).
This year my resolutions are to stay organized, keep a clear, calm head and to keep running. That's it!

Last year I made my own Smashbook, and I loved every single page! So this year I bought myself a real Smashbook!
Since my life right now is all about running and I spent my New Year at a running store it was only fitting I make  a running into 2013 Page.

 Good Times, Smile, Memories, January
Trip to Road Runner Sports, Big Salads at Red Robin's, 3 mile run on the trail.

Happy New Year!! A time to reflect and to remember!

Happy New Year!! A time to reflect and to remember!

Happy New Year to all my blogging friends! I want to say Thank You to all the friends I have made this past year, and how much I am looking forward to 2011!

I am so grateful for all that I have and all that I have been given and this is the perfect time for me to reflect on what a wonderful year it has been for myself and my family!

I have so much enjoyed visiting all the blogs of my friends and it amazing how much you can learn from each other, make a connection with someone thousands of miles away and have so much fun!

I look forward to another year of fun emails, awesome blog hops, fun challenges and lots of paper crafting fun!

Here is the card I made for the celebration of 2011. We have a pretty big party with family, friends, food and games.
 Inside:

Now this was supposed to be the ball that is dropped On New Year's Eve, but my Husband looked at it and said he didn't see that at all.... (HMMMMM  he is so NOT crafty)Then little Meg came hopping in and said "cool New Years Ball Mom" then hopped away. So I'm not sure!

I used the Wild Card to cut the window card and celebrate and Accent Essentials to cut the circles. I cut two of the layers to hide the string that is holding the ball.

To Remember:

This day is always a day for me to remember my Dad. He unexpectedly passed away 1-1-00.
Not a single day goes by that I don't think of him and all that he has missed.

I am Thankful for the time we had, I am who I am today because of him  and I truly am my Father's Daughter.

Here is a photo of us it is from about 30 years ago:
 Never Forgotten, Always Missed!

It really is hard to post such personal stuff so my special thanks and prayers to Georgiana
